Frequently Asked Questions

I provide a fully mobile cleaning service for caravans and motorhomes, available at your home or storage site. Every clean is carried out using only top-quality, premium cleaning products to ensure exceptional results. 

CaravanSam is fully insured with a £1 Million Public Liability Insurance Policy.

Whilst we endeavour never to use this insurance, you can have peace of mind that your property not only receives the best handling and care taken but also that it is completely covered.

For safe and effective roof cleaning, I’ll need at least 2-3 feet of clearance around your caravan or motorhome to use my ladders. In some cases, I may need to tilt the caravan slightly to assist with roof access, and I may also need to open windows, skylights and external lockers to ensure a thorough clean.

I use a large A-frame ladder that supports itself and never rests against your vehicle or caravan, ensuring no damage.

If your caravan or motorhome is located at a storage facility or campsite, it is the owner’s responsibility to obtain prior permission from the landowner before cleaning. Please ensure the area is clear of any obstacles that could interfere with the cleaning process.

Payment Information:
Payment is due in full on the day of cleaning. Payment can be made in cash, via debit or credit cards, or bank transfer. 

Cleaning Methods:
To protect your caravan, I do not use a jet washer, as it can cause damage to seals and sensitive areas. Instead, I use a hosepipe where available or, if not, a low-pressure washer to rinse your caravan safely. This ensures all areas are cleaned without causing harm.

Premium Products Used:
I only use high-quality, premium cleaning products. The main washing solution contains carnauba wax, which provides a brilliant shine and helps your caravan stay cleaner for longer. All products are biodegradable and eco-friendly.

Additionally, the products are safe for all exterior surfaces, ensuring your caravan or motorhomes paintwork and seals remain intact.

Additional Notes:

• Please ensure your caravan or motorhome is accessible on the scheduled cleaning day. If the vehicle is stored in a locked area, please ensure I have access. I am happy to clean your caravan or motorhome whilst you are away or at work for the day just let me know in advance and I will be happy to accommodate.
   
• If there are any specific areas you would like me to focus on or additional services you’d like to include, feel free to let me know ahead of time.
   
• I pride myself on punctuality and professionalism. If, for any reason, I need to reschedule or adjust the cleaning time, I will notify you as soon as possible.

I am based in Takeley, Essex, and primarily serve Essex. However, I can also offer mobile touring caravan and motorhome cleaning in parts of Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Suffolk upon request. Please see the location map of the area's covered.
